How to Teach the Skills

Every unit follows the same three steps.

1. Step 1

   Teach the Unit Content

   Work through all topics in the unit using the Life Science: Biology Boosters™ PowerPoints and/or book. Students should learn the science content before beginning that unit’s skills.

2. Step 2

   Teach the Unit Skills

   Use the Skill Boosters™ PowerPoints assigned to that unit to teach each skill.

3. Step 3

   Practice the Unit Skills

   Students practice each skill in their Life Science: Biology Boosters™ book. Review the questions as a class using the Regents Walk-Through PowerPoint. (See video.)

Once all three steps are complete, move on to the next unit and repeat.
